Liberal Return Policy and Damage Claims Process
We give you a full 10 days after receiving your merchandise to determine if it is right for your space. We understand that our customers have busy schedules and can't always unpack and place their furniture right when it arrives. Some leading online furniture retailers allow as few as 1 day to arrange a return. Also beware of websites that make you file your own damage claims with freight carriers. Payment of freight claims often takes 90-180 days! At MOTIF, we want to ensure that you get replacement merchandise promptly and feel that you shouldn't have to deal with the hassle of filing claims. In the rare case of damage, we will typically offer a discount to keep the damaged item, offer a replacement item to ship immediately (if in stock) or offer a full refund (including shipping charges paid) if you wish not to receive a replacement at all - a rare thing in the furniture industry.

10% Discount on Orders Over $5,000
All single orders with a merchandise total exceeding $5,000 (not including local delivery/assembly services or tax) will automatically receive a 10% discount off of all regularly priced merchandise on that order. Clearance items may be used to reach the $5,000 merchandise level, but those items will not be further discounted.

No Restocking Fees on Most Returns
Unless your merchandise cannot be repacked in its original packaging so that we may resell it as new, we will not charge a restocking fee for returning your merchandise. Some online furniture companies have mandatory restocking fees as high as 45%! We strive to make returns as simple as possible so that our customers are confident shopping for big ticket purchases online.

No State Sales Tax Outside of Texas
One of the benefits of shopping with MotifFurniture.com from outside of Texas is that you will not pay any State Sales Tax on your order. This can save you between 5-10% versus shopping at a local store.

Most Orders Ship Out in 1-2 Business Days
When the merchandise on your order is in stock, we'll ship it within 1-2 business days. Your furniture will then arrive to you in approximately 3-6 business days.

Quicker Lead Times for Out-of-Stock Merchandise
If an item is not in stock at the time of order placement, the typical lead time will be 4-6 weeks or less. While delays do sometimes occur, because we buy from domestic vendors or those with North American warehouses, you won't see 12-16 week delays common with retailers who source their merchandise overseas.

Split Shipments Offered at No Extra Charge
If some items on your order are not in stock, we'll offer to send you the in-stock pieces right away at no extra charge. Many furniture companies charge you more to split an order into multiple shipments.

Professional Photography Provides Large, Accurate Images

Most of our products are shot on-site by a professional photographer prior to being displayed on our website. This allows us to show each item from different angles and highlight special features and benefits. Vendor-supplied imagery is also used when the quality is sufficient. We avoid showroom snapshots and tiny "enlarged" views whenever possible, only using them temporarily and as absolutely necessary. Our goal is to provide almost screen-sized detail photos so that you can get a true picture of your new furniture.

We Have Actually Seen the Furniture We Sell
When you call a Customer Service Representative at MOTIF, you'll speak with someone who has seen and touched the merchandise in person (excluding some Special Order items). Our internet sales office is located on the same site as one of our store locations. If you need a more specific measurement, we'll be happy to get it for you. Want to see the back or side of an item not shown online? No problem. We'll take a photo and email it to you right away. Many online retailers only stock merchandise in a warehouse or ship it to you straight from the manufacturer. We can provide the details that are often hard to discern from a photo on a website.
